Engagement

I got the pleasure of taking engagement photos for a good friend of mine last week. Despite it being cold, super windy, and really really sunny every other 3 minutes, it was a good time and they were troopers!

I met Abe the first night I met Bill (my fiance). He is a great friend to Bill and has become a dear friend of mine as well. I am glad I am also getting to know his fiancee, Emily (very sweet lady!), and am very honored to be shooting their wedding this August! They are baseball fanatics and knew they wanted to incorporate the theme into their photos. Enjoy!

I have been so busy with the photography the past 6 months with weddings and babies, and babies and weddings and of course, editing. I am finished with weddings for the 2011 year (haha now that it's almost February of 2012...) so I plan on posting what I've been up to and future plans along with crafty ideas I have been dying over on Pinterest.com. What a freakin' awesome website, I am officially obsessed. So many great healthy eating tips as well as workout plans too, which is something I certainly need to be working on! ;)
I am currently back home at my parents for a few days and am working on getting my new $5 lamp (from Meijer) a little cuter. As soon as I have it figured out I will post some pictures! Hope you are enjoying the new year so far.

So, I'm sitting here flipping through the channels and being super excited to see that Antiques Roadshow is on. Not only is it on, but this episode takes place in Grand Rapids, MI!!! How neat!!

Oh my goodness. If you do anything in the next 24 hours, TRY THIS ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is soooooo good! I am not even kidding. Totally worth the heartburn I'm experiencin' right now :)

I am NOT a good blogger. I have tried and failed many times but plan on working on this one day and night to make it a little more fun to look at!

Between working on photo after photo (after photo), moving to a new place, searching for a part-time job and kitty-sitting, I am somehow managing to keep it together okay. Getting more and more wedding tips and ideas in my head and bookmarked onto my computer and getting more excited by the second. Now, if we could just set a date! ;)

This heatwave has been making me feel yuck lately. But, I will admit I would rather move in this weather than the beginning of January in the middle of a snowstorm like I did a couple winters ago. That was the pits.

Time for beddy-bye, lots of things to (attempt) to get done tomorrow!
